Training for jobs that don’t exist yet: SEGULA Technologies appoints Sonia Fosse Group HR Director to steer HR transformation

SEGULA Technologies announces the appointment of Sonia Fosse as Group Human Resources Director.

Sonia Fosse trained as an engineer and holds degrees in Materials Science from France and the United States, as well as an Executive MBA in Human Resources. After holding various technical, operational and managerial positions in the Research & Development and Energy sectors, notably at Enedis and Areva (Orano), she joined SEGULA Technologies in 2019, where she held strategic responsibilities such as Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO, Deputy HR Director and Regional Director for the Industries division.

She was also advisor to the French Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial Sovereignty in 2024, with responsibility for Sovereignty, the Green Economy and the Digital Economy.

Sonia Fosse is a graduate of the École de Guerre (War college) class of 2024 and a Knight of the National Order of Merit.

Training tomorrow’s talent: an ambitious HR roadmap

As a multi-sector engineering group, SEGULA Technologies invests particularly in emerging businesses linked to the challenges of national sovereignty and industrial competitiveness. Among these challenges, supporting decarbonisation and reindustrialisation is a priority, with a focus on new energies, electric and connected vehicles, Industry 4.0 and embedded systems.

Many of the strategic jobs of the next few years do not yet exist. In her new role, Sonia Fosse will be responsible for the HR strategy that will enable the Group to equip itself with the expertise needed to keep pace with changes in the industry’s business lines. The aim is to prepare the organisation for these changes with an HR policy focused on skills management, organisational agility and preparation for the major technological upheavals on the horizon in 2030.

“Technical professions are changing at an unprecedented rate, even in sectors as solid as aeronautics, energy and the automotive industry. This means that even experienced profiles have to learn to reinvent themselves. At SEGULA, thanks to our industrial projects, we identify tomorrow’s key skills at a very early stage and we train our talents with tailor-made modules, adapted to needs and as close to the field as possible; we also deploy attractive and innovative schemes such as the “Graduate Programmes” which enable a new generation of engineers to grow up as soon as they arrive. This is not just an HR issue, it’s also a condition of competitiveness, not just for us but for the industry as a whole.
– Sonia Fosse, Group Human Resources Director, SEGULA Technologies
