Global engineering company SEGULA Technologies expands its aerospace footprint to Brazil

• With the opening of a new engineering office dedicated to aerospace in São José dos Campos, SEGULA Technologies joins the vibrant ecosystem of the Innovation and Technology Park (PIT) and becomes a member of Brazilian Aerospace Cluster.

• The new office will support aircraft and equipment manufacturers.

Already well established in Brazil, SEGULA Technologies is taking a new step in its local development by opening a new engineering office in São José dos Campos (State of São Paulo) within the Parque de Inovação Tecnológica (PIT), a strategic place for the aerospace sector. Recognised as one of the largest technological innovation ecosystems in Latin America, the PIT brings together leading companies, research centres and academic institutions in strategic sectors such as aerospace, defence and energy.

At the same time, SEGULA Technologies becomes a member of the Brazilian Aerospace Cluster.

SEGULA Technologies’ new office is designed to foster synergies with key players in the Brazilian aerospace sector, starting with the main local aircraft and equipment manufacturers. It is expected to employ 150 engineers by 2030.

By joining this strategic hub, SEGULA is strengthening its ability to offer high added-value engineering solutions that are as close as possible to the country’s industrial needs.

Global expertise for local challenges

With teams specialised in aeronautics in Brazil and the expertise of a group present in 30 countries, SEGULA Technologies

recruits and trains the workforce to support the most demanding civil and military programmes by intervening over the entire lifecycle of aircraft, helicopters or UAVs, thanks to an end-to-end offer: design, engineering, industrial performance, tooling, production support and maintenance services.

The Group is actively committed to more sustainable aviation through advanced research programmes on lightweight structures, eco-design, life cycle analysis and low-carbon technologies, as illustrated by its recent work on hydrogen propulsion systems, such as hydrogen fuel cells.

“Brazil is playing an increasingly central role within the Group. We aim to recruit 300 professionals in 2026. These developments reflect the trust our clients place in us and the outstanding work of our teams.” –  Aldemir RODRIGUES, CEO SEGULA Brazil

“This investment reflects that Brazil with São José dos Campos has become one of the world’s largest hubs for aircraft design and manufacturing. As demonstrated at the Paris Air Show, Brazilian aerospace industry is leading in many domains and being established in São José is a must for a global company like SEGULA” – Richard Demoucelle, VP Global Business Line Aerospace

“With SEGULA Technologies in, our Cluster meets our goals of having more and more companies with quality delivery and capable of serving the global market.” – Kenzo Takatori Head of Brazilian Aerospace Cluster
