This agreement confirms SEGULA’s strong partnership with Renault and its leading position in the automotive engineering service market in Spain.
This agreement will enable SEGULA Spain, who until now specialised in vehicle product engineering, to create a centre of excellence for engines and power trains.
Albert Nacinovic, CEO of SEGULA Spain: “We are pleased to welcome our new colleagues from Safran. We are looking forward to working with them on amazing automotive projects and participating together in the transformation of e-mobility.”
Mercedes Garcia, General Manager for Safran Engineering Spain: “In the context of the consolidation of our activities in key markets—aeronautics, defence, space and rail—we chose SEGULA Technologies to take over our automotive activities in Spain because it is a reliable company with a strong reputation in the market and an excellent approach to the future. This transfer ensures both the continuity of activities for Renault and career opportunities for employees.”
SEGULA Technologies was established in Spain in 2002 and has 1,000 employees across 13 locations throughout the country. The Group has more than 50 local customers in several sectors, mainly automotive, energy and rail.
Over the last few years, SEGULA Technologies has pursued operations at a global level to possess all the skills and infrastructure necessary to be at the forefront of automotive engineering. With several centres of excellence and research and innovation offices, as well as testing power to rival major manufacturers, the Group can manage complex turnkey automotive projects for vehicles or production lines.
